Grief touches every part of us. It is not only an emotional experience, but one that can be felt deeply within the body and mind as well. Loss can leave us feeling weary, unsettled, tender, or changed in ways that are difficult to name.

The experience of grief often unfolds through the physical, mental, and emotional dimensions of our lives. Though each is woven together with the others, taking a closer look at these different aspects can help us better understand our experience and meet ourselves with greater compassion along the way.
